    Charles Mendez


    Charles has a diverse business background in real estate development, banking and finance, education, race promotion, business start-ups and regulated-waste management. He is the founder and CEO of Atlanta based MCF Systems Inc. through its subsidiaries provide waste management services for large and small generators of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste, including bio-medical and pharmaceutical waste disposal for hospitals, physicians and surgery centers throughout 22 southeast, mid Atlantic and Midwestern states.

    As President and Chairman of the C. E. Mendez Foundation he and his staff founded the Too Good For Drugs and Violence social and emotional learning based prevention education programs in the late 1970’s in Tampa, Florida. First taught in Hillsborough County Schools in 1979 by the Foundation staff the programs continue to be taught, uninterrupted today. Since the 1980’s the Too Good Programs have been used by over 3000 school systems and communities throughout the nation.

    Charles successfully resurrected of the famed 12 Hours of Sebring with racing partner Dave Cowart in 1978 and returned Sebring to international prominence with official FIA listing, return of major corporate sponsors, auto manufacturers and the media. In recognition of his efforts as promoter of the race from 1978 -1982 and as a former winner in 1978 he became one of the original inductees into the Sebring Hall of Fame in 2002.

    While living in Tampa Charles served on the board of several publicly traded companies including TECO Energy Inc. NYSE, Mid-State Federal S&L (Ocala,Fl) NASD and as a founder of the Merchant Bank of Tampa. He was appointed by the Mayor to the Downtown Tampa Development Authority and as an appointee of the Governor served on the Florida High Speed Rail Commission.

    Charles and his wife Yvonne now live in Santa Fe and he has become an active mentor with ABQid/SFid and advisor to two new New Mexico start-ups.

        Raghu has over 20 years of experience in engineering and product management/marketing for semiconductor, networking/telecom, audio/video/imaging, and wireless industries. Raghu has an executive MBA from University of California and Columbia University, an MSEE from University of New Mexico and a BSEE from India.

          With an undergraduate background in analytical biochemistry, computer science, and math from New Mexico State University and a graduate background in biomedical/clinical informatics from Columbia University in the City of New York, his professional background is in systems analysis and engineering. With over 15 years of experience, he has worked in companies from silicon alley to silicon valley in verticals ranging from healthcare, enterprise software, to consumer products. As a serial entrepreneur he has started a few companies of his own along the way. Professional interests include free & libre open source software, open standards, Web applications, and semantic Web.             Martin Lidy

            Lead Software Engineer

            Martin Lidy has a bachelors in computer science and mathematics from the University of New Mexico with a focus on 3D rendering and virtual reality.  Professional background includes developing applications that utilize next generation technology like sensor fusion, neural networks and image processing.  Experience developing within linux and windows environments and taking advantage of parallel computing platforms like CUDA and OpenCL.

                Dr. Matthias Zwicker

                Technology Advisor

                Matthias Zwicker has been a professor at the University of Bern and the head of the Computer Graphics Group at the Institute for Computer Science and Applied Mathematics since September 2008. He obtained a PhD from ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. His thesis focused on reconstruction, rendering, and editing of point-sampled geometry. He has been a post-doctoral associate with the computer graphics group at MIT, as well as an Assistant Professor at the University of California in San Diego. His research focus is on signal processing for high-quality rendering, point-based methods for rendering and modeling, and data-driven modeling and animation.

                    Dr. Pradeep Sen

                    Technology Advisor

                    Pradeep Sen is an Associate Professor in the MIRAGE Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds a BS in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University as well as an MS and a PhD from Stanford University. His research interests include algorithms for image synthesis, computational image processing, and computational photography.

                        Christopher Ziomek

                        Christopher Ziomek is Senior Vice President of LitePoint Design Test Solutions (DTS). LitePoint DTS helps its customers speed their wireless electronic products to market with state-of-the-art wireless test technology. Christopher has over 30 years experience in the test equipment industry, as an instrument designer, engineering manager, entrepreneur, and business unit general manager. Christopher also currently serves as an advisor and investor within many New Mexico based startups. Prior to LitePoint, Christopher was President and founder of ZTEC Instruments, a technology startup that was acquired by LitePoint/Teradyne in 2013. Before ZTEC Instruments, he worked as a section leader at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and as a microwave engineer at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. Christopher holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New Mexico.

Bill sold ProLaw to the West division of Thomson Rueters, where he joined the management team and created the West km division.                                 Viswanath Krishnamoorthy

                                Dr. Krishnamoorthy is the CEO at Qynergy Corporation a technology development company that works with inventors to develop their ideas from concept to product.  Dr. Krishnamoorthy has been involved in the development of several technologies including betavoltaic devices, neutron detectors, neutron generators, materials for thermal batteries and ultracapacitors. He also mentors companies at entrepreneur and start up accelerators such as High Desert Discovery District, ABQid and Technology Ventures Corporation. Prior to joining Qynergy, Dr. Krishnamoorthy worked at Uniroyal Optoelectronics (UOE), an LED manufacturing company where he held posts of Director of Process and Fabrication Development and Manager of the Fabrication Facility.  Dr. Krishnamoorthy has over 40 publications in refereed journals and proceedings and has over 30 conference presentations.

                                    Mr. Stephen Cook is a serial entrepreneur based in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Cook earned his B.S. in Physics from New Mexico Tech, and his MBA from UNM. He has worked in everything from small start-ups and multinational corporations, and spends most of his time focusing on Internet-based applications and software technologies, including predictive analytics, sales and marketing, and technology development. For the past few years, Mr. Cook has been focusing on helping others develop successful technology based companies through his work at Technology Ventures Corporation as well as private consulting. Mr. Cook’s technical specialties include marketing research (particularly in the software and web markets), social and Internet marketing, market analysis, value analysis, Internet strategy, start-up creation, e-commerce, and conversion optimization.
